J Dilla is a huge deal for me. I can’t even describe the effect his album ‘Donuts’ had on me. Here’s an example of these short masterpieces he made while getting treatment for his illness, and ended up being (sadly) his last album.
Even if you’re not a big fan of Hip Hop you’ve got to admit that its beautiful. He was more known for his collaborations with Busta Rhymes and his classic early works. Now he’s timeless.
